English radio available in FrigilianaAs you might imagine there are many English language radio stations operating on the Cost del Sol. On this page I list those I am aware of, broadcasting to Frigiliana Nerja and beyondRadio stations broadcasting to FrigilianaCoastline FM - 97.6FMThe usual blend of Music (60s, 70s, 80s etc), news and interviews. Irritatingly you can't listen on the web. I find this the clearest station on the tuner in Frigiliana. www.coastlinefm.net Radio Sol de Almijara - 99.1 "The voice of the community" (well, that's what they say, anyway!). BBC World Service news on the hour for 5 minutes and one hour at midday. No website. Radio stations broadcasting elsewhere and over the internetREM.FM - 104.8FM & 91.9FMMore talk, interviews and intelligent conversation than the two stations above. The great thing about this station is that you can listen to it on-line! Yes while sitting at home in the rainy UK you can click the link below and hear all the fun in the sun. They claim to broadcast to the whole coast but reception is not all that great in Frigiliana. www.rem.fm Spectrum FM - 105.5FM (COSTA ALMERIA/MOJACAR 92.6FM) Again claiming to broadcast to the whole coast. Lots of old (no- ancient) Radio 1 DJs make this a familiar station for the the over 50s. Music news and sports dominate. www.spectrumfm.net Central FM - 98.6FM & 103.8FM Like an English local radio station. Quite good for chat, local news and competitions www.centralfm.com WAVE 96 FM - 96.0FM Music station, with BBC World News on the hour. I tend to lose it about 20 miles form Malaga airport. Never heard it in Frigiliana! All That Jazz with Brian Parker 24 hour on-line jazz radio, owned by broadcaster Brian Parker whose live jazz broadcasts on international radio in Spain are accessible worldwide.
